Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep guest rooms and common areas in top condition. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety checks to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

The role requires basic math, strong English communication, and adherence to ESA safety policies. You will work on-site with a focus on prompt, quality service and teamwork with management and vendors.

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently and interact with guests, associates and outside vendors.
• Understand safety rules and follow operating and maintenance instructions.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Use basic math to calculate measurements and quantities.
• Follow company standards and SOPs in maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely maintenance to ensure guest rooms and public areas are in good repair.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance per Green Shield Binder.
• Respond to guest requests and emergencies with prompt, professional service.
• Keep maintenance areas clean and organized and manage tools inventory.
