Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Rock Hill area to ensure that property equipment is functioning, premises are kept in pristine condition, and guest rooms are maintained to standard. The role emphasizes following Green Shield Binder procedures and collaborating with management and vendors.

Responsibilities include completing maintenance work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and keeping detailed records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience or equivalent
• Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
• Ability to perform basic math and measurements
• Ability to follow safety rules and procedures
• Ability to resolve guest issues per policies

Responsibilities

• Ensure property equipment is functioning and premises are maintained
• Complete tasks in a timely fashion per Green Shield Binder
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs
• Maintain records per Green Shield Binder
• Assist with guest requests and maintain clean, safe work areas
• Coordinate with outside vendors as needed
