Job summary

Extended Stay America in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure that property equipment is functioning, premises are maintained in pristine condition, and all guest rooms are kept in good repair. The role follows Green Shield Binder guidelines and SOPs to complete tasks on schedule.

You will perform repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance, maintain records, and assist with emergencies. A safe, clean, and service-oriented environment is expected daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures and work orders.
• Prior maintenance or hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property equipment and keep guest rooms in good repair.
• Respond to guest requests with timely follow-through.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections as outlined in company binder.
• Keep maintenance area clean and tools organized daily.
• Follow safety policies and use SOPs as reference for tasks.
