Job summary

Atira Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Representative to help keep our Fairfield Inn & Suites Stevensville property running smoothly. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for guests through minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and timely repairs of plumbing, electrical, and furniture fixtures.

This part-time position requires physical ability to lift heavy items, stand and move around the property, and endure routine maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift/move heavy items up to 100–300 pounds.
• Ability to stand, move, bend, stoop, kneel, climb and crawl regularly.
• Experience with basic plumbing and electrical systems and preventive maintenance is preferred.
• Hotel maintenance experience is preferred.
• Employee assistance program is available.
• Paid training and professional development assistance provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs such as ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, painting, and repairs to pipelines, toilets, sinks, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks per the hotel's schedule.
• Ensure equipment is operational for the next day's operations.
• Monitor and maintain efficiency of electrical systems, doors, TVs, and lighting.
• refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms as needed.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the manager/supervisor.
