Fairfield Inn & Suites Cornelia is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director in keeping the property well-maintained and safe for guests and colleagues. You will assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and routine upkeep, ensuring timely repairs and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Contributes to departmental and property goals by performing maintenance tasks accurately.
• Assists with building systems knowledge in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Performs day-to-day operations of the maintenance department as scheduled.
• Carries out on-property maintenance such as painting, caulking, minor plumbing, and HVAC repairs.
• Maintains a clean maintenance shop and proper tool/storage inventory.
• Coordinates routine maintenance and keeps records of work orders in Quore system.
• Observes safety protocols and responds to emergencies as trained.
