Job summary

Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure hotel operations run smoothly by performing routine and preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety checks across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.

The role requires one plus year of maintenance experience, proficiency with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, and a willingness to work varied shifts in a hotel setting. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance or facilities management experience; hotel experience is a plus.
• Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance across public areas, guest rooms, meetings spaces, back-of-house facilities, and grounds.
• Repair guest room amenities such as televisions, phones, fixtures, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs and daily equipment checks.
• Maintain hotel aesthetics through painting, furniture fixes, and carpet/tile repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen, laundry, and housekeeping equipment as needed.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimize guest downtime and ensure safety compliance.
