Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a general maintenance associate to uphold hotel maintenance quality standards. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and assisting with major installations to keep equipment and guestrooms in top condition.

The role requires a team-oriented, self-motivated individual who can work in varying temperatures and lift 25–50 lbs. Excellent guest service and reliability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English.
• Self-starter with a team orientation.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and complete report work orders (e.g., replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl).
• Assist in checking electrical systems and make minor repairs or replacements.
• Assist with routine and major repairs of hotel equipment (appliances, kitchen, laundry, boilers, HVAC, etc.).
• Maintain building exterior and curb appeal (snow removal, lawn care, painting, gardening).
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms and finish as needed.
• Assist with guest deliveries as necessary.
• Assist with security as necessary.
• Respond courteously to guest questions, complaints, and requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Expose to extreme temperatures.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
