Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis (e.g., room care).
• Assist in checking electrical systems and make minor repairs or replacements.
• Assist in routine repairs and major repairs of hotel equipment including plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
• Service the hotel's pool and maintain chemical levels and filters.
• Maintain building exterior and curb appeal (snow removal, lawn care, painting, gardening).
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms and finish as needed.
• Respond courteously to guest questions, complaints, and requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Operate within safety policies; exposure to extreme temperatures; use heavy machinery as trained.
• Attend as required and perform other duties as assigned.
