Job summary

GetHired, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician to help keep the hotel in good repair across guest rooms, meeting spaces, restaurant and other areas. The role involves hands-on maintenance and coordination with the General Manager/Chief Engineer.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, routine inspections, minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting tasks, as well as maintaining boilers and equipment, updating logs, and supporting preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical training in maintenance preferred.
• Hotel or facility maintenance experience preferred; can substitute with 2+ years in related roles.
• Ability to read and understand safety labels and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety by observing precautions and inspecting for discrepancies.
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs throughout the hotel.
• Maintain pressure boilers, electrical equipment, lifting and power distribution.
• Perform minor fans and air-conditioning repairs.
• Update engineering log during assigned shift.
