Job summary

Courtyard Rocky Mount is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to help maintain the hotel's exterior and guest areas. You will perform routine painting, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC tasks to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable stay for guests.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, relevant experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Strong teamwork, communication, and a commitment to service are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other maintenance tasks to uphold hotel property.
• Replace air conditioner filters and maintain HVAC efficiency.
• Attend to air conditioners, cooling towers, and boilers to provide heat, cool air and hot water for guests.
• Maintain quality guest service by completing maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
• Tend to the pool area, balance chemicals and clean to ensure guest safety and enjoyment.
