Job summary

Comfort Suites Universal in Orlando is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Chief Engineer with the upkeep of the hotel property. The role covers basic repairs, painting, plumbing, electrical work, pool operations, and preventive maintenance, plus maintaining logs and ensuring safety compliance.

The candidate should have at least two years of hotel maintenance experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mechanic maintenance experience in a hotel or related field.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations and general maintenance skills required.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, lift up to 75 lbs and perform overhead reaching.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs, painting, wall covering, plumbing, electrical work.
• Maintain pool operations and preventative maintenance logs/regulations.
• Clean and maintain indoor/outdoor areas, parking lot, and storage areas.
