Job summary

Extended Stay America in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure guest rooms and property areas are well maintained and functioning in accordance with company standards. You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and daily tasks to keep the property pristine and safe for guests and staff.

Responsibilities include following Green Shield Binder procedures, documenting maintenance activities, coordinating with management and outside vendors, and maintaining clean,

Qualifications

• Read and speak English proficiently; interact with guests, associates and vendors.
• Follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, manuals and company standards.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Perform unit conversion and basic arithmetic.
• Use weight, volume and distance units.
• Apply good judgment at all times.
• Assist in resolving guest issues per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide guest and associate experiences with 100% commitment.
• Perform repairs listed on work orders promptly and professionally.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections as outlined in policies.
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas and equipment.
• Respond to guest requests with follow-through per guidelines.
• Coordinate with outside vendors as directed by management.
