Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards.
• Understand and operate electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems.
• Communicate with different types of people to understand needs and provide information.
• Check for new maintenance requests from the PMS and update task remarks.
• Update the maintenance work orders and file them.
• Interpret readings from meters and gauges.
• Prioritize and organize work assignments.
• Work under pressure while maintaining good judgement.
• Maintain confidentiality of hotel information and assets.
• Ensure hotel room access and property security.
• Read and understand test equipment and safety manuals.
• Perform maintenance in guestrooms (toilets, drains, HVAC, lamps) and public areas.
• Program TVs and manage inventory duties.
• Test and troubleshoot equipment and perform repairs.
• Lubricate and maintain tools and equipment.
• Act as independent mechanic to diagnose and fix issues.
• Be available for emergencies to protect guests and facilities.
• Monitor Fire/Life Safety systems and respond to emergencies.
• Carry out written instructions and maintain inventory.
• Ensure professional appearance and protect assets.
