Job summary

Mkmhotels is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Team Member to help maintain the hotel infrastructure and guest areas. The successful candidate will be organized, proactive, and committed to safety and guest satisfaction.

Experience in hotel maintenance and familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems are a plus. Responsibilities include inspecting facilities, performing routine maintenance, coordinating repairs with minimal guest disruption, and ensuring compliance with safety codes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in hotel maintenance experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proactive problem-solving approach.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of electricity, plumbing, AC/heating, and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety standards and brand standards.
• Arrange for routine maintenance in rooms, lobbies, and facilities.
• Organize and manage repair projects with minimal disruption to guests.
• Respond promptly to emergencies such as power outages.
• Maintain familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and sewer systems.
• Maintain pool, hot tub, sauna, and fitness center.
• Interact effectively with guests, management, and other departments.
• Develops and executes preventative maintenance schedules.
• Diagnoses and fixes HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and kitchen equipment issues.
