Job summary

Merete Hotel Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our property’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems running smoothly. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues and repair facilities in guest areas and back of house.

This role requires up to 3 years in maintenance, basic carpentry, painting and pool operation knowledge. You’ll work on irrigation, HVAC and safety compliance while keeping fixtures and outdoor spaces in top condition for our guests.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in commercial or residential settings.
• Light carpentry, painting, and wallpaper knowledge.
• HVAC, plumbing or electrical skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair hotel mechanical systems and fixtures.
• Repair irrigation, landscaping, and pool areas.
• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety compliance and report unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate parts and supplies and update the manager.
