Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort and Villas in Indian Wells, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs, HVAC maintenance, and preventative tasks throughout the hotel and guest rooms.

The ideal candidate has maintenance experience in a luxury hotel, basic HVAC, plumbing and electrical skills, and a strong work ethic. This full-time role offers benefits and opportunities for advancement within a prestigious property.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience in a luxury hotel is preferred.
• Brand experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, drywall, PTAC units, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot issues and determine necessary repairs.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to work orders and guest room service calls in a timely manner.
• Maintain the building exterior and overall property.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.

• Troubleshoot issues and determine necessary repairs.

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance.

• Respond to work orders and guest room service calls in a timely manner.

• Maintain the building exterior and overall property.

• Assist with housekeeping duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Prior maintenance experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred, but we’re willing to train the right hospitality professional.

• Brand experience preferred.

• Familiarity with basic HVAC, plumbing, drywall, PTAC units, and electrical systems.

• Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems is a plus.

• Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.

• Ability to lift and move objects weighing 50–100 lbs.

• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

• Ability to work independently.

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
