Job summary

Atrium Embassy Suites in Portland, OR is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, repair minor hotel systems, and maintain pool and grounds. The role supports guest experience through timely work orders and reliable equipment operation.

The ideal candidate has 6 months of general maintenance experience, able to lift 25 lbs regularly, and familiar with HVAC, electrical, or plumbing tasks. This is a full-time, on-site position with Atrium’s employee-focused programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required; hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care.
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals.
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances.
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment.
