Job summary

Cambria Portland Pearl Hotel is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to keep kitchen, laundry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and guest room equipment running with minimal downtime. You will be a versatile troubleshooter, juggling tasks across systems and responding quickly when issues arise.

This role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of trade-related experience; you must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 1 year of trade-related training.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment with minimal downtime.
• Install and replace light fixtures and bulbs.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of chemicals and hazardous materials and complete required reporting.
• Secure the building by monitoring security systems and maintaining keys.
