Arbor Lodging Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks in guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring safety standards are met and the property remains in peak condition.

The role involves preventative maintenance, organizing supplies, and coordinating with staff. The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, and a focus on guest and employee safety across the property.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED.
• 1-2 years of hotel maintenance experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
• Thrives in a flexible environment and can switch tasks quickly.
• Basic maintenance certification/accreditation preferred.
• Is a team player.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings (required).

Responsibilities

• Maintain the basic upkeep of all rooms and common areas.
• Organize supplies and prep equipment for the next day.
• Maintain safety standards and report incidents or unsafe conditions.
• Monitor areas inside and outside the hotel such as parking and pool.
• Follow preventative maintenance calendar and note improvements.
• Notify supervisor of low-running supplies.
• Communicate with hotel staff professionally.
• Take on extra duties as needed and work flexible hours.
