Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Person for our Mount Laurel Township, NJ property. The role focuses on general maintenance and repairs in guest suites, meeting spaces, and public areas, with responsibilities spanning mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of maintenance experience, strong English communication, and a customer-service mindset. A HS diploma and ability to lift up to 20 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Customer service experience preferred, hotel or related field.
• Flexible schedule for AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Strong command of the English language (speaking, reading and writing).
• Learn quickly and work in a fast-paced, guest-facing role.
• Able to multi-task.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to lift, pull, and push up to 20 lbs.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment in guest suites, meeting spaces, swimming pool, and front of the house areas.
• Perform preventative maintenance on guest suites and public areas.
• Assist with repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Provide high-quality guest service and support to hotel guests.
• Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure a safe, clean environment.
