Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Augusta, GA is seeking a Maintenance Representative to help keep our hotel running smoothly. You will repair, replace and refurbish items around the property, help maintain safety and cleanliness, and follow the preventative maintenance calendar to improve guest experiences.

This non-exempt, hourly role pays $17.92 per hour and comes with a uniform, room discounts, and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of maintenance or repair work
High school diploma or related vocational training
Familiar with Microsoft Office and a building management programme
Knowledge of reporting tools like HotSos, Opera, Lutron, Bartech, or Inncom
Basic plumbing, electrics and preventive maintenance procedures
CPO certification is ideal if the hotel has a pool
Able to stand for long periods and stay fit
Fluent in the local language and able to work in a hospitality environment
Excellent communication and a warm, approachable demeanor

Responsibilities
