Job summary

TownePlace Suites by Marriott is hiring full-time Maintenance Technicians in Charlotte, NC. The role covers guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas, with shifts 12pm–8pm or 3pm–11pm. Daily pay is offered, with flexibility and safety training required.

Responsibilities include prompt repair, preventive maintenance, and reporting of issues. Strong use of tools and safe work practices are essential to ensure hotel operations run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous building operations engineering experience preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions.
• Must have the ability to complete required safety classes that pertain to specific job duties.
• Ability to work any hours/ days during the week and weekends

Responsibilities

• Responds to guest calls and hotel staff reports of non-functioning equipment promptly.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment (e.g., pump and motor replacement), plumbing, electrical equipment including lamps and outlets.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel, including guestrooms, front and back of house, interior and exterior.
• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.
• Program TVs and perform other engineering-related duties.
• Uses power and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain exterior of building and grounds as necessary.
