Job summary

Residence Inn Myrtle Beach Oceanfront in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking full-time Maintenance Technicians. Shifts run 7am–3pm or 3pm–11pm with weekday and weekend availability. The role covers guest rooms, public spaces, and heart‑of‑the‑house areas, with a focus on safety and timely repairs.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, basic repairs, preventive maintenance, tool and equipment care, and reporting progress. Flexibility in hours and a commitment to guest service are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous building operations engineering experience preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions.
• Must have the ability to complete required safety classes that pertain to specific job duties.
• Ability to work any hours/ days during the week and weekends

Responsibilities

• Responds to guest calls and hotel staff reports of non-functioning equipment promptly.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment including plumbing, electrical, and guestroom items.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel, including guestrooms and public areas.
• Record and report completed repairs and items requiring attention.
• Program TVs and perform other engineering-related duties.
• Maintain exterior of building and grounds as necessary.
• Follow life safety procedures and address hazards promptly.
• Keep the work area clean and organized
