Job summary

Courtyard & Residence Inn by Marriott in Raleigh near Brier Creek/RDU is hiring for full-time Maintenance Technicians. The position requires flexibility to work first or second shift with weekday and weekend availability.

Responsibilities include responding to guest calls, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and performing preventative maintenance across guestrooms and hotel areas. A daily pay option is available.

Qualifications

• Previous building operations engineering experience preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions.
• Must have the ability to complete required safety classes that pertain to specific job duties.
• Ability to work any hours/ days during the week and weekends

Responsibilities

• Responds to guest calls and hotel staff reports of non-functioning equipment promptly.
• Troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment (e.g., pump and motor replacement), plumbing, electrical items and other guestroom items.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the hotel, including guestrooms and public areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.
• Program TVs and perform other engineering-related duties.
• Maintain exterior of building and grounds as necessary.
• Demonstrates familiarity with life safety systems and takes corrective action on maintenance or operating problems.
