Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a skilled hotel maintenance technician to support the operation, maintenance and repair of our property. This role focuses on guest room preventative maintenance, completing work orders, and responding to guest service requests to ensure a safe, functional environment.

The ideal candidate will perform carpentry, drywall, painting, and plumbing tasks, assist with renovations as directed, and uphold safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, drywall repair, painting, plumbing, and general maintenance.
• Hotel or facilities maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Must recognize safety hazards and security problems and act accordingly.
• Comply with hotel policies including appearance, grooming, safety and emergency procedures.
• Ability to use basic hand and electric tools; familiarity with parts and materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance projects and renovations as directed by Chief Engineer.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a schedule (room care).
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and service calls.
• Maintain exterior grounds and curb appeal (lawn care, painting, gardening).
• Perform basic repairs: carpentry, drywall, painting.
