Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to service the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems and keep the property in top condition. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot HVAC/plumbing issues, and support pool care, grounds, and building exterior while following all safety policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Recognize safety hazards and act to mitigate them in the hotel.
• Follow hotel policies and procedures including appearance and grooming.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical or electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing) in the hotel.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a schedule (room care).
• Maintains pool chemicals and filters; records logs.
• Maintains exterior and curb appeal (grounds, painting, landscaping).
• Assist other engineering personnel as needed.
