Job summary

Westmont Hospitality Group seeks a skilled maintenance professional to care for a luxury hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems, equipment and aesthetics. The role includes troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical issues and performing routine preventive work across the property.

The position requires hands-on experience in hotel maintenance, safety awareness, and the ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation. Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in a full-service hotel.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry basics.
• Ability to recognize safety hazards and follow procedures.
• Experience with basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in mechanical or electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis.
• Service the hotel’s pool and maintain chemical balance and filters.
• Maintain the building exterior and curb appeal through upkeep such as painting and landscaping.
• Follow safety, security and emergency procedures and report hazards.
