The role requires basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Some on-call shifts apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and courteously.
• Inspect equipment and facilities for needed repairs or safety concerns.
• Complete basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general repair work.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
• Maintain pools and water features.
• Document work performed, parts used, and issues identified.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk to support guest satisfaction.
• Follow safety procedures and property standards.
• Keep tools and storage areas organized and secure.
• Support emergency response and on-call needs.

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on professional to help keep our property running smoothly and our guest experience at a high standard. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, responds promptly to service needs, and works well both independently and as part of a team.

What You Will Do

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and courteous manner.

• Support emergency response and on-call needs when required.

What We Are Looking For

• Prior experience in building maintenance, facilities repair, hospitality maintenance, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair work.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and determine practical solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and complete tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing needs.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb, and stand for extended periods as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality setting.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems or work order software.
• Technical certifications or vocational training in a related trade.
• Knowledge of safety standards and local building codes.
