Job summary

Savour Hospitality is seeking a Building Engineer II to join our maintenance team. You will service and repair hotel systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety equipment, while upholding brand standards and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and responding promptly to guest repair requests. Strong teamwork and communication are essential, with the ability to work independently as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years related experience or equivalent preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Training preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently (and in a team).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs with standard safety practices.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory; document readings and maintenance records.
• Respond to guest repair requests and coordinate with engineering management.
• Read meters and logs to track performance; assist with data for inspections.
• Train and mentor other engineers as needed.
