Job summary

Peregrine TH Management, LLC seeks an Engineer 1 to maintain the hotel's facilities, perform repairs, and ensure safe, reliable operation of systems.

You will repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and related equipment, inspect gear, test boilers, read blueprints, and maintain preventive maintenance records. Some shifts may include evenings and weekends as needed to keep the property in top condition.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar capacity is a must.
• At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair, inspect and maintain utility services, inventory, and tools.
• Make repairs of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, masonry, flooring, kitchen equipment, and light concrete work.
• Inspect equipment regularly and troubleshoot needed repairs.
• Test boilers and record readings.
• Replace and program televisions as needed.
• Replace switches, receptacles, bulbs, and fixtures.
• Repair furniture and pumps.
• Perform plumbing repairs (e.g., clogged drains, copper pipe, washers, handles, drain fittings).
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Trace and repair water lines.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records.
• Work to local, state, and federal codes.
• Test, clean and repair pools and spas.
• Paint designated areas.
• Repair and finish sheet rock.
• Repair wall coverings.
• Repair and program hotel electronic lock system.
• Adhere to hotel policies and safety rules.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
