Hotel Equities is seeking a dependable Maintenance Tech/Houseman to support hotel operations and guest experiences. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative tasks across guest rooms and public areas.

The role requires basic trade knowledge (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting) and the ability to work evenings or weekends as needed. Join a team focused on safety, service, and operation excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or facilities maintenance is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general repair practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve routine maintenance issues.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to safely use basic hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and building systems for maintenance needs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, associates, and management.
• Maintain hotel facilities, equipment, and common areas in safe, operational condition.
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other maintenance tasks as needed.
• Complete work orders and document maintenance activities.
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maintain standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow safety and regulatory requirements.
