You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and carry out general upkeep. This role involves responding to service requests, inspecting for safety, documenting work, and assisting with installations and seasonal tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in facilities, property, hotel, apartment, industrial, or commercial maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Able to troubleshoot problems, follow instructions, and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail, time-management skills, and a service-focused attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Background check will be required.
• Alcohol-related violations disqualify candidates operating company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, fixtures, and common areas.
• Diagnose and complete basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, appliances, and general facilities.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly, prioritize urgent issues, and communicate repair status clearly.
• Inspect the property regularly to identify safety concerns, damage, wear, or needed improvements.
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and document labor, materials, and follow-up needs.
• Maintain tools, parts, maintenance areas, and inventory in a clean, organized, and secure condition.
• Assist with equipment installation, seasonal maintenance, grounds upkeep, and special projects.
• Follow safety procedures, building codes, manufacturer instructions, and company policies.
• Participate in an on-call or emergency-response rotation when required.
