Job summary

JL Hospitality Management, LLC is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Engineer to uphold the property's condition, safety, and appearance. This hands-on role covers guestrooms, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and building systems, with preventive maintenance and general repairs.

The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and enjoys troubleshooting to keep the hotel running smoothly and guest-ready.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or similar facilities preferred.
• Basic building maintenance knowledge.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read equipment manuals and follow procedures.
• Able to work independently and with teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across guestrooms and public spaces.
• Respond to maintenance work orders and guest requests promptly.
• Inspect and identify needed repairs on building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry items.
• Maintain records of repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping on room status.
