Job summary

Hotel Investment Services is seeking a dependable Full-Time Maintenance Technician to keep our properties' equipment, building systems, and common areas safe, functional, and well maintained. This role performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and general upkeep while responding promptly and professionally to service needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in facilities, property, hotel, apartment, industrial, or commercial maintenance preferred.
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools and basic trades.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, follow instructions, and work independently.
• Attention to detail, time-management, and a service-focused attitude.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Background check will be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, fixtures, and common areas.
• Diagnose and complete basic repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, appliances, and general facilities.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and communicate repair status clearly.
• Inspect the property regularly to identify safety concerns, damage, wear, or needed improvements.
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and document labor, materials, and follow-up needs.
• Maintain tools, parts, maintenance areas, and inventory in a clean, organized, and secure condition.
• Assist with equipment installation, seasonal maintenance, grounds upkeep, and special projects; snow plowing a plus.
• Follow safety procedures, building codes, manufacturer instructions, and company policies.
• Participate in an on-call or emergency-response rotation when required.
