Job summary

Extended Stay America is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure all property equipment operates correctly and guest rooms remain in pristine condition. The role requires following the Green Shield Binder and management direction, completing preventive maintenance, and maintaining accurate records.

You will respond to guest requests, assist with room cleanliness, and coordinate with vendors as needed. Responsibilities include inspections, repairs, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure property equipment is functioning and guest rooms are in good repair.
• Complete tasks per Green Shield Binder and management directions.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Follow Green Shield Inspection schedule to complete tasks timely.
• Maintain records including PM deficiencies, inspections, and logs.
• Keep maintenance areas organized and tools safeguarded.
• Assist with guest requests and hotel cleanliness as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with vendors when needed.
