Job summary

Island Hospitality Management in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain hotel systems and equipment. You will work with the Chief Engineer and management to ensure safety and quality across guest areas and back-of-house facilities.

The ideal candidate is a team player with a proactive attitude, able to handle work orders promptly, respond to emergencies, and follow all health and safety guidelines while providing excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of working alone or in a team while following safety guidelines.
• Able to respond to emergencies on short notice.
• Comfortable with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general maintenance.
• Must read and implement hotel emergency procedures.
• Ability to complete work orders promptly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain hotel systems and equipment.
• Work with Chief Engineer to identify and complete projects.
• Prepare shift reports for management.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Assist with exterior maintenance and preventative maintenance programs.
• Report to hotel in bad weather for exterior maintenance.
