Battle House Hotel and Spa in Mobile, AL seeks a Lead Maintenance to support the Engineering Director in daily operations, focusing on equipment upkeep, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure guest comfort and a safe environment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, monitor refrigeration units, calibrate equipment, maintain records, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards while coordinating with other departments to minimize downtime.

• Diagnose and repair a diverse range of hotel equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to prevent blockages and ensure efficient drainage.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of refrigeration units, including walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Regularly calibrate equipment to ensure accurate and consistent results.
• Ensure strict compliance with relevant codes, laws, and requirements for equipment and maintenance.
• Promote safety and cleanliness standards following MSDS and NFPA guidelines.
• Respond promptly to service calls and prioritize urgent repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, parts used, and service requests.
• Support maintenance tasks for new construction projects as assigned, ensuring safety rules are followed.
• Foster open communication with other departments and share relevant information.
• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and follow standard procedures.

• Support maintenance-related tasks for new construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
• Foster open and effective communication with other departments, passing on relevant information.
• Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and follow standard operating procedures.
