Job summary

MHG Hotels LLC seeks a skilled Lead Chief Engineer to oversee maintenance across guest rooms, public spaces, and the pool area. You will manage preventative maintenance, respond to tenant repairs, and ensure safety and operational efficiency in a hospitality setting.

The role emphasizes problem solving, teamwork, and a friendly, customer-focused demeanor to keep guests comfortable and rooms pristine.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
• Respond and attend to tenant repair requests
• Communicate with tenants to resolve maintenance issues
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in tenant's home, meeting rooms, and/or public spaces
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
• Display above average engineering operations skills and strong general mechanical ability
• Display knowledge in air conditioning, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, energy conservation, and general building
• Perform surface preparation, painting and minor repair tasks
• Inspect and repair grout and caulking
• Maintain pool, chemicals, and pool equipment
• Test, troubleshoot and repair equipment and electrical components
• Use Lockout/Tagout system
• Follow safety policies and report accidents and unsafe conditions
• Protect company assets
• Develop relationships with all departments and communicate regularly
• Stand for long periods and assist with movement tasks as needed
