Job summary

Onix Hospitality is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance, operation, and engineering systems of our hotel properties. You will lead the maintenance staff, manage projects, and ensure safety and compliance across the building infrastructure.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in Engineering and proven hotel maintenance experience, with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills.
• Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to push, pull, move, lift, and/or carry minimum of 50lbs. a minimum of 5 ft. in distance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance staff and operations of the hotel's physical plant and engineering systems.
• Directly responsible for maintenance and operation of all equipment on the property and building structure.
• Schedule labor and material for remodeling and refurbishing projects.
• Coordinate with department heads and external contractors; supervise safety compliance.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and energy conservation efforts.
