Job summary

OTH Hotels Resorts is seeking a hands-on Chief Engineer to lead maintenance and engineering across its properties. The role focuses on safe, efficient operations, preventative maintenance, and strategic capital projects.

You will drive reliability of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other critical systems while supporting a superior guest experience. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, 5–10+ years in maintenance/engineering leadership, and strong

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field preferred.
5-10+ years of maintenance or engineering leadership experience.
Experience in hospitality or a similar environment is preferred.
Strong technical knowledge across building systems and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the engineering and maintenance team.
Oversee preventive maintenance programs and capital projects.
Manage daily operations of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical).
Respond to emergencies and coordinate rapid repairs.
Develop and manage the engineering department budget and cost controls.
Ensure compliance with local codes, fire safety regulations, and OSHA standards.
Collaborate with other departments to support guest experience and operations.
Plan and oversee capital improvement projects to minimize disruption.
