Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Ballantyne in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure smooth operation of hotel facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to keep guest areas safe, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing for guests and staff.

Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and 2+ years in hotel maintenance; HVAC, plumbing, or electrical certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimum of 2 years in hotel maintenance or related field.
• Trade certifications (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance across hotel facilities.
• Repair and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and other systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Uphold safety standards and maintain records of activities.
• Assist in keeping guest areas clean and well-maintained.
