Job summary

Loews Nashville Hotel is seeking a skilled and dependable Engineer II to join our property operations. In this hands-on role, you'll perform skilled trade work across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently to deliver a seamless guest experience.

You will respond to maintenance requests, conduct routine inspections, and support emergency procedures while upholding safety standards and quality workmanship in a luxury hotel

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance or skilled trades in hospitality.
• Post-high school training or equivalent in a maintenance/engineering discipline.
• HVAC/electrical/plumbing/carpentry-related certifications preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and repair manuals.
• Strong problem-solving and guest-focused communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled trade work across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, guest concerns, and emergencies.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address issues.
• Operate tools safely and maintain documentation for work performed.
• Assist with dispatch and collaborate with team to manage workload.
• Adhere to safety standards, MSDS guidelines, and environmental rules.
• Support event setup and keep work areas clean and organized.
