Mainsail Lodging & Development is seeking an Engineer II to oversee day-to-day maintenance of hotel facilities, ensuring safety, functionality, and guest satisfaction. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and address repair needs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and other systems.

You will work independently on routine tasks and collaborate with the Engineering Team on larger projects.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade certification a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years' hands-on maintenance/engineering in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment.
• Knowledge of fire alarms, emergency power, and energy management systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with other departments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain guest rooms and public areas: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and cosmetic items.
• Replace electrical switches/outlets and program TVs as needed.
• Monitor fire alarm and life-safety systems; respond to emergencies.
• Log and interpret readings from meters and gauges; keep daily records.
• Provide technical guidance and training to other engineers.
• Be available for emergencies and restore operations promptly.
