The Redondo Beach Hotel, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton property, seeks a General Maintenance Engineer II to join the Engineering team. You will handle day-to-day maintenance with independence, troubleshoot a wide range of hotel systems, and help ensure safety and comfort for guests.

Responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests, performing preventive maintenance, and coordinating with other departments to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in hotel or hospitality.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot hotel equipment with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
• Proficient using engineering systems to document work.
• English-speaking or bilingual.

Responsabilités

• Respond to and resolve guest and team maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Perform corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Troubleshoot and repair hotel mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and equipment.
• Apply working knowledge of HVAC/refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, controls, carpentry, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain engineering inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Train and mentor less experienced engineers including Engineer I team members.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office, and other departments to support guest experience.
