Job summary

Harwood Hospitality Group’s Hôtel Swexan of Dallas seeks an Engineer II to perform preventative maintenance on all hotel equipment in line with ASRE/OSHA standards. The role focuses on HVAC/R systems, energy management, and timely work order completion.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years hotel engineering/maintenance experience, with 2+ years electrical, plumbing, mechanical and kitchen equipment know-how. EPA/CFC and pool certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Trade or vocational training in refrigeration/AC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all equipment and systems within HVAC/R.
• Familiarity with energy management systems and field components.
• Complete scheduled preventive maintenance and reports; finish assigned work orders promptly.
• Handle guest complaints following best practices.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment including ceiling and suspended units.
