Job summary

The Engineer, Level 1 at Highgate Hotels’ Sheraton Four Points Pleasanton, ensures the property is maintained in excellent condition with minimal disruption to guests and staff. You perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and readings on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, one year of hotel maintenance experience, and ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of progressive experience in hotel maintenance preferred.
• Trade school/college coursework in related field helpful.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to hotel HVAC systems and electrical components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, chillers, electrical systems, etc.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams; repair plumbing and pumps as needed.
• Test and record readings on equipment and systems.
• Maintain and update maintenance records.
