Appellation Healdsburg is seeking a Maintenance Engineer I to support day-to-day hotel maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry. This role is ideal for individuals with prior hotel engineering experience or strong general maintenance background.

You will respond to guest requests, perform preventive maintenance, mentor junior team members, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety standards and code compliance.

Competenze

• Must have 1–3 years of hotel engineering experience or 3–5 years in general maintenance
• Proficient in troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Able to read technical manuals, schematics, and work orders
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor as needed

• Conduct skilled maintenance and repair tasks in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems
• Respond to guest and staff requests with professionalism and great service
• Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life
• Monitor building systems and suggest repairs or upgrades as needed
• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with codes and brand requirements
• Mentor junior team members and assist with on-the-job training
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or projects
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and materials; report usage or shortages
