Job summary

Performance Hospitality Management (PHM) is seeking an Enginee r I to implement preventive maintenance across hotel properties, monitor life safety systems, and oversee building upkeep. You will service HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and pool areas, while coordinating with department heads and contractors to ensure compliance with codes and standards.

The role requires strong problem-solving, reliability, and customer-service orientation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; trade or vocational coursework preferred.
• 2+ years in hotel/resort or commercial building maintenance/engineering.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical/electrical systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults in hotel infrastructure and appliances.
• Service pools and maintain chemical balance and filters.
• Read schematics/blueprints and equipment manuals.
• Coordinate with department heads on maintenance needs and service contracts.
