Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous maintenance, facilities, construction, or related experience preferred.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance practices and common tools is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions, learn new technical skills, and ask for assistance when needed.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and professional environment.
• Good communication and customer service skills when interacting with guests and team members.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaboratively with the engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance and basic repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical tasks.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest and staff maintenance requests, escalating issues as needed
• Execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and prolong equipment life
• Monitor building systems and recommend repairs or upgrades as needed
• Follow established safety procedures, property standards, and applicable maintenance guidelines.
• Complete assigned work orders accurately and communicate the status of repairs to the engineering team.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall operation and upkeep of the property.
