Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, hands-on FT Maintenance Engineer for voco The Tuxon, an IHG hotel in Tucson, AZ. You will maintain guest rooms and public areas, perform preventative upkeep, and respond promptly to maintenance requests to ensure seamless operations.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry, with prior hotel maintenance experience. ARTICULATION and reliability are highly valued, along with a strong safety mindset and team

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (2) years in a hotel maintenance position preferred.
• One year of college or trade school in mechanical, electrical, and/or technical disciplines preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the property grounds, public areas and hotel guest rooms.
• Conducts preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation; maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs.
• Responds to maintenance orders in a timely manner.
• Fulfills work orders in a timely manner.
• Completed daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.
